This musical meeting led to an exciting exchange between Bordeaux based composer Etienne Rolin and the Quartet Pneumatik from London. In preparation for a conference and concert at the Guildhall Music School we had a chance to experiment with soundpainting using palettes from Xenakis (Xas quartet) and my own notation. A rich experiment with the quartet in dialogue with Glissotar and live electronics was captured for this present project.
